NEFAEP January Open Forum

Happy New Year!

Please join NEFAEP at Abatix for our January Luncheon which will be an open forum style meeting.  We encourage our members to attend with a focus on the things they would like to see happen with NEFAEP in 2015 (Joint Ventures, Presentation Ideas, Luncheon Locations, Social Locations, etc.) We want to give our membership the opportunity to have a voice in the direction of the group!

We are offering a special sponsorship deal for this meeting: $150 to speak about your company and services for 5 – 10 minutes. Contact aaron.bendavid@testamericainc.com if you are interested in sponsoring this event. The general audience will speak about their affiliations, events, associations and ideas for 2015.

Timucuan Trail Parks Foundation has agreed to share some information about their group and activities for 2015.  We would like to consider working with them this year on a tree planting or river/park cleaning project. We would also welcome other local non profits to this meeting and encourage them to take the floor for 5 -10 minutes to present on how we can work together or support one another.

Please RSVP for this event. We look forward to hearing ideas and making 2015 great!

Topic: Confined Space Rescue – Preparation for Rescue

When preparing entry into permit-required confined spaces, compliance with the standards for rescue teams has become an aspect of the preparation process that seems to escape scrutiny…until an emergency occurs.  This presentation focuses on applying the OSHA standards for confined space rescue (CSR) to field operations and helps educate attendees on what they should expect from CSR service providers.
